Cancellation Policy

Please read the points below carefully for any cancellations.

The policies mentioned here are in reference to the time slots selected by the user during the checkout process on www.wimbiscakes.com website.

Orders are processed based on the selected time slots, and cancellation requests are accepted accordingly. Please refer to the following conditions:


Cancellation Conditions

  • If the cancellation request is received more than 24 hours before the start of the selected time slot:
    • 10% of the order value will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • 90% of the order value will be refunded to the original payment method.
    • 💡 Note: A 100% refund can be requested to the Wimbis Wallet where the cancellation charges will be waived off.
  • If the cancellation request is received between 12 to 24 hours before the start of the selected time slot:
    • 20% of the order value will be deducted as cancellation charges.
    • 80% of the order value will be refunded to the original payment method.
    • 💡 Note: A 100% refund can be requested to the Wimbis Wallet where the cancellation charges will be waived off.
  • If the cancellation request is received within 12 hours of the selected time slot:
    • 100% of the order value will be deducted as cancellation charges.
    • No refund will be provided to the bank account or the Wimbis Wallet.

Important Notes

  • Refunds to the Wimbis Wallet or original payment method can only be initiated at the discretion of the company, depending on the reason for cancellation. Circumstances such as unfortunate events, natural calamities, or unavoidable situations will be considered.
  • No claims for refunds will be entertained to override the above-mentioned clauses.

Orders That Cannot Be Cancelled

No cancellation requests will be accepted for the following categories:

  • Same-day delivery orders:
    • If the order date and delivery date are the same, cancellations will not be accepted.
    • If the order is cancelled or the recipient does not accept the delivery, no refund will be processed.
  • Same-day midnight delivery orders:
    • Orders placed for midnight delivery (12:00 AM) on the same day cannot be cancelled.
  • Special occasion orders:
    • Orders placed for special occasions like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Diwali, New Year, etc., cannot be cancelled, and no refunds will be initiated.

Same-Day Orders Policy

We allow users to select the same-day delivery option while placing an order. However, we make an attempt to fulfil same-day orders but do not guarantee delivery on the same date.

We will process same-day delivery orders within 24 hours of the requested date and time slot.

  • Same-day day and evening delivery:
    • Wimbis Cakes accepts same-day orders for day and evening time slots until 5 PM.
    • It is an attempt to deliver on the same date, but not a guaranteed promise, although we make 100% effort to fulfill the order.
  • Same-day midnight delivery:
    • Wimbis Cakes accepts same-day midnight (00:00) delivery orders until 7 PM.
    • It is an attempt to deliver on the same date, but not a guaranteed promise.
  • Courier product orders:
    • Orders for courier products cannot be cancelled after acknowledgment by our team.
    • The selected delivery date for courier products is only tentative, as the final delivery depends on the courier/logistics partners.
    • Courier products are usually dispatched within 2 days of order placement, but the time may vary depending on the nature of the product and its preparation.

Additional Terms

  • For same-day orders, efforts will be made to deliver on the requested date and time slot. However, delays due to unforeseen circumstances, logistics issues, or natural calamities may extend the delivery by 52 hours beyond the requested time.
  • No refunds will be processed for such delays.

 

Refund Policy

For Cancellations:
Refunds in case of cancellations are subject to our Cancellation Policy. Kindly refer to the same for detailed information.

Order Acceptance & Refunds

  • Order acceptance is subject to the availability of products, delivery areas, and delivery slots. Orders may be declined after assessment, and customers will be informed accordingly.
  • In cases where the order is canceled by Wimbis Cakes due to unforeseen circumstances, the amount paid will be fully refunded to the customer’s wallet or bank account, as per the customer's preference.

Delivery & Refund Guidelines

  • Single Delivery Attempt: Only one delivery attempt will be made. Please confirm the recipient's availability before selecting the delivery time.
  • If the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery, no second attempt will be made, and the order will be considered cancelled with no refund issued.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be initiated only after the customer confirms via email whether the refund should be credited to the wallet or their bank account.
  • For orders processed within 48 hours of the delivery date, refunds will be credited to the wallet.
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 15 working days after confirmation.

Address Change Requests

  • Address changes are permitted free of charge if requested at least 24 hours before delivery.
  • For address changes requested within 24 hours of delivery, a fee of ₹200/- will be charged.
  • In some cases, address change requests may not be possible. If the request cannot be accommodated, the order will not be canceled or refunded.

Pin code Requirements

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide the correct pin code corresponding to the delivery address. Incorrect pin code entries may lead to the following scenarios:

  • If the pin code entered belongs to a non-serviceable area, the order will be cancelled, and no refund will be initiated.
  • If our team contacts you regarding an incorrect pin code and you wish to update the delivery location, additional delivery charges for the correct pin code will apply. In such cases, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded if you choose not to pay the additional charges.

Important Points

  • Product Variations: Product descriptions, prices, and specifications (such as weight, size, and colour) may vary slightly due to market conditions. The photos shown are for representation purposes only.
  • Delivery Time Slots: Orders are accepted and delivered based on available time slots for the selected city.
  • Midnight Deliveries: Midnight orders may be delivered between 11:00 PM to 12:30 AM, and for remote or smaller towns, the time window may extend from 10:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
  • Product Availability: Wimbis Cakes reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the sale of any product or service without prior notice.
  • Duplicate Orders: In case of duplicate orders with similar details, we will attempt to contact the customer. If no response is received, both orders will be processed, and disputes arising later will not be entertained.

Delivery Policy

  • Same-Day Delivery: Orders placed under the 'Same-Day Delivery' category cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
  • Special Occasions: During peak occasions such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve, exact delivery time slots may not be guaranteed. Orders during such periods may be delivered up to 52 hours after the requested date and time.
  • Rescheduling Orders: For rescheduling, you must inform us at least 24 hours before the delivery date.

Order Completion Guidelines

  • Orders will be considered successfully delivered in the following cases:
    • Incorrect address provided by the sender.
    • Recipient unavailable at the delivery location.
    • Delivery denied by the recipient for personal reasons.
    • Premises locked or permission denied to delivery personnel (e.g., hospitals, government buildings, societies, hotels, or public/private properties).
  • Damage Check: Recipients should check the product before signing the receipt. If damaged, the recipient should refuse the order and the delivery person will return it for a replacement. Allow at least 6 hours for the replacement to be delivered.

Refunds in Special Circumstances

  • Fraudulent Orders: In case of suspected fraudulent behaviour, Wimbis Cakes reserves the right to cancel the order without any refund.
  • Unforeseen Events: Delays caused by extreme weather conditions, strikes, riots, or similar circumstances may lead to delays, but order cancellation and refund will not be possible in such cases.

Customer Complaints

If the delivered product does not meet your expectations, please inform our Customer Service Team within 4 hours of delivery. Our team will review the complaint and take appropriate action.
